Another ethereal editorial (can you tell it's my current obsession) by Andreas Sjodin titled 'Morning Flowers' featuring the captivatingly beautiful, and doll like, Frida Gustavsson.
This editorial comes to us courtesy of the photographer Laura Sciacovelli who I just adore. She truly brings out the feminine ingenue in her subjects as well as just a youthful playfulness that is missing in so many fashion magazines! Fashions does not always need to be overtly sexy or serious in fact I love it best when it's presented in a fresh and irreverent way and that's what Laura does SO well.
This editorial was featured in the October 2010 edition of British Vogue (of course! the home of some of my MOSY favorite whimsical shoots and well written articles) and features the model Anna Jagodzinska and is (aptly) titled 'The Dreamer'.
Here is the editorial 'Wedding Belles' shot by none other than Mario Testino for British Vogue's May 2011 edition. Now we just have to wait for Charlene's dress tomorrow! (Not going to lie was a tiny bit let down by Kate's. I adored the bottom and the veil but the top just didn't do anything for her! and the hair.... well lets just say in my opinion James Brown does NOT deserve a pat on the back).
In celebration of Ms. Moss' nuptials today I thought I would post this editorial from Vogue Italia from a few years back taken by the ever talented Nick Knight. Yum! I have to say after revisiting this editorial I HOPE that he does an Agent Provocateur campaign. He would be AMAZING!

It's Bejamin Francis Leftwich's song 'Hole in My Hand'. Check it out. I am a HUGE fan of his.
And now for the editorial. It's from French Vogue (no surprise)'s November issue and the editorial is called "Un dimanche a la campagne" and it was shot by Mickael Jansson and styled by Anastasia Barbieri. The model is Sascha Pivovarova (one of my favorites) and the girl in the shoot is actually the stylist's daughter.
I've chosen this editorial as it is a great example of Roitfeld's work to the extent that it's difficult to date it. I believe that it's truly timeless. Despite the fact that I know that this editorial if from November 2010 I would just as easily believe that it was shot in the 60s or even the 70s. Undoubtedly this is also a result of the work of Ms. Barbieri who did such an amazing job of the styling. It looks simply effortless.
The two images that stand out for me here are the one where Sascha is wearing the knitted cardi and the one of her in the peacoat. I just adore the interaction between the models. There's just something magical in the moments that were created and captured.
