Tony Romo and Candace Crawford's wedding: the tape that will undoubtedly be getting Jessica Simpson back into her fat jeans- stat

If Jessice Simpson isn't crying over a tub of Rocky Road right now I would be SHOCKED.

Tony Romo and Candace Crawford have released a video from their wedding that has got to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. I will start off saying that the production quality is amazing..... but basically the good ends there and it becomes pretty cringe at that point. The whole thing is set to Coldplay, there's a lot of close ups and tears, some random pervy shots of shaving and makeup being airbrushed on and then just a whole lot of tack that wouldn't be out of place on 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding'.... the white car, the cake, the confetti..... I don't know what the wedding planner was on but after watching this he has got to be smarting from the come down.

The worst bit is I don't know if they intended it to be released but the only speech that is included in the entire four minutes is one from Tony waxing poetic about the fact that he knew immediately that Candace would be his wife and that she was physically and internally what he had always imagined.... It's pretty much the verbal equivalent of a high kick to anyone else he'd ever dated. It would be insensitive if accompanied by other speeches... but existing alone as it does it not only seems insensitive but intentional. If not by Tony by whoever did the editing, they clearly thought this would be a hilarious (if not callous) statement to make.

And in celebration AGAIN of all the weddings this weekend...

Here is the editorial 'Wedding Belles' shot by none other than Mario Testino for British Vogue's May 2011 edition. Now we just have to wait for Charlene's dress tomorrow! (Not going to lie was a tiny bit let down by Kate's. I adored the bottom and the veil but the top just didn't do anything for her! and the hair.... well lets just say in my opinion James Brown does NOT deserve a pat on the back).

Lurve this wedding dress!

So today Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch were married in Leicestershire after some speculation. There had been some insinuation of another scandal during a trip Peter made to Dubai BUT regardless Abbey soldiered on and they made it to the altar today.

Abbey looked AMAZING in a Giles Deacon gown. Particularly amazing as she gave birth to their first child only three months ago (I would be exceptionally pleased to look like that now... let alone six months after birth!). Not only was the dress amazing but I like that she went a bit different with the hair and makeup. She left her hair down in a loose and tousled style and rather than opting for a typical dewy blushing bride look Abbey went a like minxy on us and opted for some dramatic smokey eyes and some vampy red nail polish.

I would also like to point out that unlike other WAG's and their partners *ahem- cough, Colleen Rooeny and Cheryl Cole* these two did not sell an exclusive deal to a magazine and did these pictures for FREE! I think that's a real present for the fans! Massive thumbs up to the happy couple!

Coco Rocha's Wedding

So Coco Rocha's wedding was probably one of the most gorgeous things I have ever had the pleasure of viewing (second hand, of course).

Not only were they kind enough to release pictures for all us fashionphiles to perv over BUT they also released a video for us to watch. I know!!!!! ♥ them.

Check out the fabulous photos below. The dress p.s. is by Zac Posen and I'm pretty sure that there's nothing that I don't love about it.... the fishtail, the ruffles- it's fabulous.

If only I had received this..... One can dream.
Her beautiful balletic reception dress. She looked absolutely stunning, such poise.
Probably my favorite picture. It's just such a beautiful image and it really shows off the fishtail skirt.

Sex and the City weddings as they were and should always have been: take not SJP, dead birds were neither invited nor used to adorn the bride.

So before there was the Carrie and Big's fashion wedding let down (take 1 AND 2). There was Charlotte's wedding triumphs 1 AND 2. Both fabulous.

Charlotte York
Wedding One

So beautiful, so classic. So Charlotte.

Charlotte York- Goldenblatt
Wedding Two

We didn't think that she could trump it.... but she did. More classic. Totally different but still Charlotte. A nice idea for those brides out there who want a bit more coverage while still flashing their shoulders.

One of my favorite celebrity weddings- Hillary Duff and Mike Comrie

On August 14, 2010 Hillary Duff and Mike Comrie wed in Santa Barbara, California. I adored the photos from the wedding. She looked spectacular and the service just looked lovely.

The bride wore Vera Wang and Christian Louboutin. The dress and veil were just stunning and I ADORED her hair. Everything was just perfect.

It did appear that she may have had some work on her face done prior to the day as it was looking pretty tight and flawless.

One of my least favorite Marchesa dresses...

Coleen Rooney in Marchesa for her wedding to Wayne Rooney in Portofino Italy in June 2008. The dress apparently cost 100,000 POUNDS and it turned out like this.....

I'm distinctly unenthused. The scalloped win is a definite loss for me and I wish the veil were slightly longer.

Carrie's Wedding Dress: consideration of a dead bird

So I was hoping that someone might be able to help me with this conundrum. The producers of Sex and the City saw Sarah Jessica Parker looking like this....

and the producers thought welllll that looked nice but this is the biggest moment in the Sex and the City franchise SO maybe we should scrape her hair back so the viewers can reeeeeeally see how old her face is, you know really make those wrinkles predominant. Let's bunch the veil up on top of that pineapple of hair on her head and then let's stick a dead bird on the side on a SUPER awkward angle just so everyone really takes note that it is indeed a dead bird. Is there anything else we can do OH! I got it lets make the bird blue just so it really sticks out, we don't want to risk the chance that that sucker will blend in at all. And why don't we let that bird be the only accessory, with the exception of the earrings, just so we make it even more prominent that it is indeed a dead bird... a dead BLUE bird... on her head and just so people make the observation that it's not like the bird was one of many accessories. It wasn't just a crazy Carrie moment where she was rummaging around for everything and anything she literally just went for the bird.

Personally I think it looks horrible and I take great offense to the fact that whoever was responsible for that call not only ruined what would have made a beautiful fashion moment in the history of SATC but they also ruined a beautiful dress. If I was Vivienne Westwood I would be absolutely fuming somewhere as through poor accessorizing they turned something which could have been stunning into something that was so ghoulishly off the mark it was just sickening.
.... I know my disdain is palpable.

My one regret over the royal wedding

I kind of wish that William had kissed Kate's hand during the marriage. I realize that hand kiss or not Kate and William's marriage will usher in MANY more happy moments than Charles and Diana's ever had the potential to. This would have been a nice moment to relive regardless however.

Lara Stone: Wedding Edition

Due to my continued interest in both Lara Stone, and her breasts, and the copious time currently on my hands. I thought I would post a few pictures from her wedding and reception, gown by Givenchy.

Kate Moss is apparently considering Givenchy to do her wedding dress. I don't think I can picture her in a similar wedding dress but I can certainly imagine her rocking a leggy rock mini to her reception (which I imagine will be the cat's meow, true story).
